‍STAFFING

All Park Nursery School staff members strictly adhere to all State of CT Department of Public Health requirements for employment. This includes but is not limited to a full background check, verification of physical health, immunizations, and ability to perform the assigned tasks. At all times at least one CPR and First Aide certified staff will be present. Most staff members are also certified to administer medications. In addition, staff members attend monthly professional development sessions and are versed in the policies and procedures of the Center. Staff members receive and review an Employee Handbook, a job description, and an orientation. All staff members are required to maintain child and family confidentiality. The Employee Handbook, Center Policies and Procedures and State of CT guidelines are available to parents and families upon request. In accordance with State of CT Requirements all staff members must participate in professional development activities that equal at least one (1) percent of total annual hours worked.
